When you freeze a request, you'll keep moving up the line, but you won't receive a pickup notice until you unfreeze the request. This helps you avoid too many things coming in all at once, or allows you to freeze requests when you already have enough stuff.
When can Requests be Frozen?
You can freeze and unfreeze any of your requests at any time, except for requests which we've already sent pickup notices about. Once we send a pickup notice, it's too late to freeze it.
How do I Freeze my Requests?
On your My Account page, you can freeze or unfreeze any or all of your requests using the modify button. You'll see a spinner while your command goes through, and then the status will change to Frozen or Unfrozen.
