Everybody busy making garden. Irving Clark and family drove over to Dexter, last Saturday. George Harraon, of Detroit, visited a short time at Milo Clark's, the first of the week. The mite society will hold an afternoon social, May i, at the residence of Lewis Miller. Mrs. D. P. McLachlin entertained o sister and nephew from Ann Arbor, Saturday and Sunday. Dr. Oakley was taken from the vault at Ypsilanti and buried in the cemetery here, last Saturday. A minister from Tecumseh preached in the Baptist church here in the morning and at Vork in the afternoon. A telegram, calling Mr. Conrad to the bedside of his mother, at Quincy, was received Friday. Mrs. Conrad died on Sunday. Mrs. I. N. Clark received word Monday of the serious illness of a sister in Detroit and she and her son, Irving, left on the afternoon train.
