TOPEKA, Kan., May 27.- Joseph Bennett, a faamer in Jewell county, Kan., borrowed money from Ida Asbborn, a school teacher of Jewell City, giving a mortgage on his farm for security. He failed to pay the notes when due, and the farm was sold under forclosure, and the farm rented to Joseph Kindlesperger. Bennett is a mernber of the Farmers' Alliiince. Sunday night thirty or forty masked Alliauee men, with Bennett at the head, drove up to the place, and requested the new tenant to leave. He retused to do so, whereupon revolvers were drawn, and he was told that he conld either leave at once, or his dead body would be carried away. Bennett was then reinstated, and still holds the place.
