Miss Anna Hemingway was in Detroit a part of last week. Rosa Bailey returned to Ann Arbor last Monday to stay two weeks. John Baumgardner, of Ann Arbor, was calling on friends here last Sunday. Lou Braun, of Jackson, spent Sunday with his parents, Fred Braun and family. Chas Smith and wife spent Sunday with Mrs. Smith's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pitney, at Highland. J. B. Laraway attended the M. E. conference at Detroit last week. He was sent as a delégate from the Leiand church.
