LEeoeived to late for last week."! Early sown wheat begins to show signs of insect work in it. Another carload of poultry is to be shipped from here to New York on Saturday. If the man who can make it rain when he pleases would come along here now he could get a job. Miss Celesta Taylor went to Albion last Tuesday to study music at the conservatory of Albion College. Rev. J.H. Mclntosh has been returned to Chelsea for another year. It is his fifth year and gives general satisfaction. The Glazier-Strong stove company hands are now working one and one-third time daily, to catch up with orders. The primary department of the school will open in their usual place next Monday and the other departments one week from Monday. Mrs. R. M. Congdon. will leave for her home in Grand Junction, Iowa, next Monday, having visited relatives here since the encampment in August.
