Decatue, Mich., Oct. 0.- Sinion Pokagon, chiƩf of the rernnant of the Pottawatomie tribe of InrUans who are domiciled in southwestern Michigan, will soon receive $230,000 f rom Washington for diatributiou amoGg the 250 members of his tribe. These Indiana successfully resisted removal to Kansas in 1833, but claimed the annuity promised ac that time. They received a small sum in 1866, since which time the present claim has been prosecuted.
