Miss AHie Worden is convalescent, xfter a prolonged illness. Wm. Wtiiteman and family, of Ann irbor, visited friends here the fore part of the week. Mrs. E. C. Hebbard and Mrs. Chas. Smith visited witih Mrs. John Worden and daughters on Wedncsday of last week. The ladies' aid society will hold a social at the residence of Mrs. J. Renwick, oo Friday evening, December 18. A cordial tovitation is extended to all. Rev. Calkins delivered a very able discourse at tihe M. E., church, last Sunday mortiing. His text was taken from the first ohapter of Romans and the sixteenth verse.
