Will Thurston, of Grand Rapids, visited his parents last week. , George Holmes and family spent Friday with friends in Pinckney. Mr. Serviss and daughter, of Ann Arbor, visited friends here last week. O. Mackinder, of Battle Creek, visited old friends in this place last week. Mrs. John Hill and daughter Eva spent Sunday with friends in Ann Arbor. Ad. Speigelberg and family intend removing to Ohio in the near future. William Cobb, sr., and M. Bell were in Ann Arbor on business, Wednesday. Michael Millman, of üirkett, has gone to South Dakota to make it his uture home. Miss May Vincent, of Ann Arbor, s the guest of her cousins, the Misses Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ballou were called to Romulus, Wayne county, :o attend the funeral of his mother, VIrs. James Connors. John McCabe started Monday night for his western home near Puget Sound, Washington, after a few months'visit with his parents. The young farmers of this place ave the last hop of the season at the Normandie hotel, Hudson, Monday evening. There was a large crowd present.
