Zina P. King, who has been on trial in the Wayne circuit for the past ten days, ch-arged with embezzling the funds of the Alumni Society of the University, was yesterday afternoon acquitted of the charge, the jury being out one hour. Proseeuting Attorney Lehman and Otto Kirchner appeared for the prosecution and Col. John Atkinson and Edwin F. Conely for the defense. The case was well tried, the judge's charge being against the defendant, and at its conclusiĆ³n King was congratulated by a number of his friends.
