Colic, cholera morbus, cramp and many other afïections of the stomach and bowels prevalent at this time of year are due to two causes. First, he depressing effect of the hot weather upon the nervous system, and second, the use of green fruit, cucumbers, meions, etc. No one is afe from painful and even dangerous attacks of these affections unless unusual precautions are taken at this ime of year. A tablespoonful of Je-ru-na taken before each meal is a complete protection against these maladies. Pe-ru-na is not only a )reventive of colic, cholera morbus, cramps, stomach ache, summer diarrhoea and cholera, but is also a )rompt cure for these diseases. Where the attack is very severe and ainful a wine glassful of Pe-ru-na hould be taken at once, followed by wo tablespoonful doses until complete relief is obtained. This never ails in a single case. In cases of ess severity a tablespoonful every ïour is sufficient. No one should neglect the precaution of taking a lose of Pe-ru-na before each meal, until the hot season is over.
