Tariff Trusts

The June supplement of the New York World, edited by Hou. John De Witt Warner, is made up of "one hundred samples" of tarifï trusts, under the heading, "Conspiracies to Crush Corupetition, Restrict Product, Raise Prices and Lower Wages." These trusts embrace most of the articles on which we have effective tariff duties. Auiong the offlcers of these trusts will be found hundreds of naines published in the New York Tribune's list of millionaires, thus in part, at least, answering The Tribnne's question as to whetber or not the tariff makes millionaires.
