A Horse Thief Caught

A horse, buggy and harness were stolen from E. S. Butts, of Willis, on Tuesday of last week. Sheriff Dwyer was notified, and Ralph and Burt Salmón were suspected of stealing the horse. The officers have been looking out for the hórse and thieves. On Tuesday of this week Deputy Sheriff Gillen arrested Ralph Salmón near Saline. He had the buggy and harness, but had traded the horse off at Coldwater. He owned up to the horse stealing. The officers left yesterday afternoon for Coldwater to get the horse and the other brother. Horse thieving in Washtenaw is an unprofitable business.
