R. F. Ainsley went to Williamston last week. Henry Bennett has the upright of his house well under way. Jay Dickerson is at Milan at work in Whaley's eider mili at present. DLed, Sept. 25th, of peritonitis, Arthur, son of W. A. Anderson, aged seven months. Our station agent, Mr. Bethel, has gone to Washington to attend the G. A. R. encampment. W. A. Anderson is painting W. II. Ostrander's new house, which adcls much to its appearance. Mr. Mead, of Ypsilanti, is teaching a nine months' term of school here and gives good satisfaction so far. The funeral of Mrs. McFalI, of Ypsilanti, formerly of this place, was held at the Quaker church last Saturday. E. S. Butts finds his livery business increasing so that it is necessary to build an addition on his barn 16 x 28 feet. W. A. Heath has his new house enclosed, and Dr. Post will commence his house this week, Albert Pratt also has some of the material on the spot for a new house.
