"old Nels" Is Dead

Saült Sïe. Marie, Feb. 25. - Nelson Ostrum, or, as the sailors all called him, "Oíd Neis," is dead. He had been a lockman at the g-overnment ship canal here since the 60's and was probably better known to the vesselmen of the great lakes than any other individual.
