Much is expected of the use of electricity to deaden sensibility in teeth that are to be filled or extracted. As to extraction, it is announced that already the use of an electric current delivered through electrodes containing cottoa saturated with cocaine or ether has produced complete local ansesthesia, so that teeth have been extracted without pain.
