MENOMKíEE, .May j.í. - .Menominee river is overflowing its banks in many places, a result of the heavy rain breaking the ice floes and lof? jams on the head waters and tributary streams. The water is over 5 feet above the normal mark. and isgaining-rapidly. Much damape has been done by the breaking of booms below the dams.
