JaCkson, June 26.- Charles Foster, a Michigan Central freight conductor, at 205 Deyo street, this city, was fatally shot by a tramp at Dowagiac Sunday morning. The tramp, who escaped, was attempting to board the train and Foster warned him away. The tramp had not been captured at last accounts.
