Tuesday afternoon Henry Gaige, Sam Pike and William Clancy were plastering the new brick receiver at the Ann Arbor Gas Works, when the scaffold suddenly gave way precipitating them to the ground. Pike was badly bruised and Gaige had a lower rib broken, while Clancy escaped with a few slight scratches.
