Jocelyn have gone to Chicago. Miss Minnie Drake is attending thejair in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Chris T. Donnelly are visiting in Chicago. H. J. Brown joined his family at Old Mission yesterday. Dr. and Mrs. Louis P. Hall left for Chicago Saturday. Mrs. S. W. Clarkson returned from Chicago yesterday. Mrs. John E. Tice is visiting in Mt. Pleasant and Owosso. Henry Kuhl, of La Salie, 111., is visiting friends in the city. John Schlee and Frank Legg went to Chicago last Wednesday. Christian Gauss is viewing the wonders of the World's Fair. John C. Schmid and Joseph Lanz have gone to the World's Fair. Mrs. Dr. E. Wells, of Bay City, visited old friends here last week. Prof. John Dewey and family spend the summer at Keene, N. Y. Mrs. Thomas J. Keech is making the World's Fair an extended visit. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kern are viewing the sights at the World's Fair. Prof. P. R. de Pont and son have gone to Black Lake, near Cheboygan. Evart H. Scott and family left for Old Mission yesterday, for the summer. Misses Julia Reyer and Gertie Sanford left Wednesday for Chicago. Mr. Ed. Lohr, of Toledo, spent Sunday with his parents on Packard street. Miss Minnie Haesler, of Marine City, is visiting her sister, Mrs. F. Hogan. Mrs. T. A. Bogle and children have gone to Chicago and Paola, Kansas. Miss Francés Breakey, of Brooklyn, is visiting her brother, Dr. W. F. Breakey. Eugene Wagner, Jacob Lutz and Charles Steeb went to Chicago, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Howard, and Miss Julia Howard, are visiting the World's Fair. Mr. Henry G. Apfel, of Duluth, Minn., is visiting his parents on Ashley street. Mrs. Michael Hoy and children, of Chicago, visited friends in Ann Arbor this week. Mr. and Mrs. F. Stofflet and daughter returned from Chicago Wednesday morning. Miss Lulu Edison has been called to Vienna, Ontario, by the serious illness of her mother. Mr. and Mrs. William Herz, and Miss Olive Luick, left for the World's Fair Saturday. Dr. Heneage Gibbes retumed Monday evening from a fishing excursión to Lake county. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Belshaw, of San Francisco, Cal., have been visiting friends in the city. Mrs. A. M. Osband, of Wellington, Ontario, with her three children is visiting Mrs. J. C. Taylor. Charles F. Weising, of Rochester, N. Y., who has been visiting his sister here, left Wednesday for Detroit, where he will stay a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Apfel and daughter spent a few days with Mr. Mrs. WillaDieterle at their camp at Strawberry Lake, the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Apfel and son, of Anderson, Chester Co., California, are here visiting their parents on S. Ashley st. They were on the way one week.
