A start has been made towards the full establishment of a theological seminary in this city by the Church of Christ. Two chairs have Deen endowed. The Christian Woman's Board of Missions have undertaken to endow other chairs. The instructors in the new seminary so far selected are Rev. Herbert L. Willits, A. D., A. M., of Dayton, Ohio, and Rev. Clinton Lockhart. A. M., of Kentucky. Mr. Willits has been professor of Hebrew and Old Testament Literature in Bethany College, and Mr. Lockhart has been president of Columbia College, Kentucky. The course of instruction will begin October i, and includes History of Israel, Prophecy, Hebrew Psalmody, Life of Christ, the Apostolic Church, Paul and the Epistles, Religious Movements in America, Methods of Christian Work.
