Preparing Michigan's Tax Levy

Lansing, July 81. - State Accountant Tompkins is now engag-ed in preparing1 the state tax levy for the years 1S93-94. The total appropriations made by the leg-islature aggregate $3,594,837.48. This is made up of $2,084,921.13 for 1S93 and $1,529,918.33 for 1894. For 1S93 the tax will be $1,925,000 and for 1894 $1,(550,000 in round numbers.
