Howell, Sept. 21. - A Brighton man named Whitehead was held up by three tramps at the depot and robbed of S45 in cash and a silver watch. After Becuring the booty the tramps he!d their man until the train was about to pull out and then put him aboard, thus preventing his giving any alarm until they had made their escape.
