Mrs. Henry De Pue and daughter Winnifred have returned from a ten days' visit in Chicago. Miss A. Halsey and Miss Dora McCollum have returned from a visit to the exposition. Mrs. Charles Binder .and Mrs. Albert Mann spent a few days in Manchester, visiting relatives. Samuel Andrews, of New York, formerly in the book business here, was in the city last Friday evening. Mrs. Eliza Wilson, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Mary Conover, has returned to Terra Haute, Ind. Mrs. E. J. Erb, Mrs. Minnie Rankin and daughter, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, have been visiting Mrs. W. J. Miller. John Fischer, Gottlob Schneider, Christian Gauss, William Sauer, Oscar Sorg and family, Samuel Krause and family, left Tuesday for the World's Fair. Misses Fannie and Abbie Beakes, of Cornwail, N. Y., who have been visiting their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Beakes, left last evening for the World's Fair. J. B. Bohnet, of Pittsfield, has returned from a business trip to New York city and after spending a week with his parents, will go to Los Angeles, California, where he will stay a few months in managing the affairs of the King Publishing Co. He will go by way of Chicago and pay a second visit to the World's Fair.
