Finnigan's Ball
One of the best performances ever iven in tb is city was presented by Slurray and Mack in '-Fiunigan's Ball" ist night. The musical part of the ntertainment and the specialties were 11 good, new, and well done. The play s trom the pen of that clever young uthor, Geo. II. Emrick, and a piece yith wittier lines and funnier situaions has never been presented here. t is a great relief to see a comedy inÃrpreted by a company of comedians tiat know their business and do not act s if they were sawing wood. Too much praise can not be given Manager Merritt for surrounding his stars with such people. Each and every member of the company is an artist, and their comedy bubbles forth Dure and natural like laughter from children at play. To say anything about Murray and Mack would be libel, as it is likeseeing the World's Fair. You can't take itall in in a week; but judging from the way the audience laughed, they were the funniest gentlemen ever seen at our theatre. In a word, "Finnigan's Ball" is an assuredsuccess, aroaringhit, and a work of unquestionable merit. At the Grand Opera House, Saturday, evening.
