Lansing, Oct. 5.- Governor Rich has appointed James W. King of Three Bivers official stenographer for the Fifteenth judicial circuit, comprising the counties of St. Joseph and BranchT, for the full term of six years from Oct. 7. Mr. King was formerly editor of the Lansing Reptiblican.
