Oíd and young are enjoying the sleighing. Mrs. Caspar Boby is very sick with bronchitis. Mrs. Jehn Engel went to Ypsilanti, to visit her daughters. Miss Ella Schultz spent Thanksgiving visiting relatives at Blissfield. N. Schmid drove to Sand Lake last Sunday to look after his cottage. Walter Wheeler, of Adrián, visited at O. Millen's, the first of the week. The school is preparing for txn exhi)iUon whicl) is to take place Dec. 21. Miss 13ertha Lehn went to Tecumseh to visit her sister. Mrs. W. Arnold. Mesdames Senger, Kreitner and Miller went to Jackson to visit a few days. Miss Florence Poucher, of Brookyn, has been visLtiin? her sister a few days. Miss Ida Silkworth went to Jackson ast week and spent a few days visitng friends. Miss Anna Oebulskie and friends, of Ann Arbor, spent a few days visiting her parents and friends. Rev. and Mrs. Lincoln conducted ;he revival meetings held by the Baptist and Methodist congregations in the M. E. church. The entertainment given by Prof. D. M. Bristol and the trained horses was largly attended and everyone went home feeling amply repaid. The matinee given in the afternoon was mostly attended by the litte ones who, alter the performances, eujoyed a pony ride. The, entertainment given by the A. 3. ü. VV. at Arbeiter hall, Tbanksgivmg evening, was well attended and all reported having had a pleasant ;ime. The literary program coi'sisted of singing and speaking. Mr. Hollings, of Detroit, was unable to be present. After supper wus served the dance ;ook place and did not cease till the wee hours of morning.
