Tntliana contributeö her thousands of brave soldiers to the war, and no state bears a better record In that respect than It does. In litcrature it is rapidly acquiring au enviable place. In war and literatura Solomon Yewell, Tvell known as a wrlter aa "Sol," has won an honorable position. During the late war he was a member of Co. M, 2d. N. Y. Cavalry and of the 13th Indiana Infantry Volunteers.
