In the present advanced age, no gentleman who pretends to any degreeof taste, wilt wear cheap "handme-down" clothinqrwhen for a small additional outlay he can procure a suit made to order by a respoosible tailor. Mr.Schoenewald, whocame to our city two yearsago last month, and established himself at No. 26 E. Washington street, has given most excellent satisfaction to all for whom he has done any work, and has now an excellent reputation as a work man and especially as a fitter. He carries a stock of goods froni which anyone can be "suited" including as it does, cloths, cassirners and worsteds of both foreign and domestic manufacture, of all grades and at all prices. His patronage has been such as to necessitate, besides his own labor, the assistance of one workman all the time, and ffequently two. Germany was the land of Mr. Schoenewald's nativity bat he lias been an American citizen for irtany years. He will certainly succeed, if success depends on merit.
