G. Lovejoy has purchased a great many chickens and turkeys the past week and will ship a carload to Boston for the holidays. The young ladies' society of Emanuel church donated ten dollars to the Kim Haurst college for a Christmas present tor the poor students. Ernest Kuenzler and Paul Schoettle, wlio are attending college at Elm i Haurst, are expected home Thursday to spend the holidays with their parents.
