Oscoda, Dec. 21.- Two years ago Charles Leach, now city clerk, then eniployed a6 setter in Penoyer Brothers' sawmill here, had both lega badly fractured by the displacement of some machinery on the circle saw carriage whereby he bevaine crippled for life. Snit was brought against the Penoyers, and has ben on trial here in the circuit court sinrfi last Thursday. Plaintifï sued for $13., 000. The case attracted general inteijt and was hotly contested. Af ter daliberating four hours the jury rendered a verdict for plaintifï for 2,000.
