Pulcipher is visiting her son in Toledo. Dr. M. P. Hunt has removed to No. 30 Jefferson street. Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Hangsterfer visited in Detroit tliis week. Miss Maggie Clune, of Adrián, is visiting Mrs. Elizabeth Pardon. I. S. Handy and Clarence Clark have returned from Kalamazoo. Mrs. Amhrose Kearney is visiting her danghter in Des Moines. lowa.Hon. Tames L. Lowden, of Ypsianti town, was in the city, Tuesday. Miss Erama Bower was in Flint Wednesday on L. O. T. M. business. Mrs. James N. Martin returned Tuesday from a visit in Lancaster, Ohio. Miss Rena Schwingle, of Danville, N. Y., is visiting her sister, Mrs. F. TI. Brown. Mrs. D. F. Schairer is in Joliet, Illinois, where she was called by the illness of a brother. Mrs. Olivia B. Hall gives a reception next Wednesday evening in honor of Miss Anthony. Prof. Morris Sullivan, son of J. Sullivan, of this city, is spending several nionths in Austria. Miss Minnie Stoup, of Ypsilanti, and Miss Leadley, of Lansing, are visiting Mrs. Fred Staebler. W. D. Hubbard, of St. Johns, who has been visiting Edward StabIer, returned home Tuesday. Miss Edith Noble and Miss Nina Howlett give a reception at the residence of A. L. Noble tomorrow afternoon. Mr.and Mrs. Emanuel Burkbardt, of Grand Rapids, were in the city this week to attend the funeral of Thaddeus Thompson. Evart H. Scott, supervisor of the sixth ward, started Tuesday evening for Honolulú, Hawaiian Islands, where he will solve the intricacies of the Hawaiian embroglio.
