A forious artesian well was struck in Chamberlain, S. D., a few months ago. At first, it sent out 3,000 gallons of water in a mimite, but later the flow more than dqubled. Water is forcecl through the pipe so vigorously that the solid eight inch stream is thrown over 14 feet into the air. The famous well at St. Angnstine, Fla., is the on]y well in the country which approaches this in force
