Ten Thousand Dollars For Harris Hall

The endowment fund of Harris has received another welcome addition. The addition comes in the shape of a check for #10,000 from Dresden, Germany, and is from Miss Wood, a sister of the late Mrs. Slocum, of Detroit, who bequeathed the fund for the Slocum lectures. Miss Wood's generous gift will be known as the "Ransom E. Wood memorial fund" in memory of Miss Wood's father. With the addition of this #10,000, the endowment for the running expenses of Harris hall amounts to #35,000.
