Hanged And Riddled With Bullets

BeIiTÖN, Tex., April 11. - Word has reaehed here that a mob took Ert Cass f rom his home at Grove, about 27 miles froin here, a few nights since. hanged him on a tree und riddled his bod}' with bullets. It is said that Cass was mixed up in a mob that visited Jack Reagles of that neighborhood some tinie ago. Cass had turned state's evidence and was the leading witness against members of the other mob who had been indioted by the grand jury and it is suggested that that may be the cause for putting him out of the wav as it were.
