John Burke, P. S. Purtell and Mis. Alice Donegan have sold car titnber to R. Whitson, a South Lyon lumberman. Mr. John Kearney has received a position as bookkeeper in the Michigan Central freight office at Ann Arbor. Mrs. Frank Hallen has been visiting i'riends in Toledo the past week. The township board has appointed Patrick S. Purtell census enumerator. Mr. Thomas Taylor, of Ann Arbor, has been sojourning here the past week.
