Dündee, April 30.- This community was surprised Sunday morning to hear of the marriage of Myrtie Slayton, a well known young lady of this village, and Albert C. Browning, one of the Dublishers of the Dundee Ledger. Miss ■jlayton is a nieinber of the junior class of the Dundee high school and took art in the exercises by the class at the ipera house on Saturday evening. Af ter ;he entertainment the couple proceeded o the Methodist Episcopal parsonage, where they were united in marriage by lev. J. W. Balmer and were then Iriven in a carriage to Milan. where ,hey took the train for Detroit. Mr. slavton is a well known brick, tile and umber dealer of this village, also a member of the common council and is jrived over the affair, which he knew ïothing of until Sunday morning.
