Fifteen Hundred Affected

Poughkeepsie. N. Y.. May 17.- Three hundred men employed at the brick yards here have gone out on strike. The men who would not quit work were attacked and conipelled to flee to the woods for safety. The owners of the yards have applied to the sheriff for protection. Pitteen hundred men are affected by the strike.
