Death Of A Veteran
LiAPEER, May 22.- Major Wesley Armstrong died at his home in thia city, aeed 69 years. He had been a resident of Lapeer slnce '49, and was a veterau oL the civil war attaining the rank of major in the Tenth Michigan cavalry. When in good health he was an activa and prominent citizen, but for a numler of years he has been a nelpless invalid owing to war wounds and has been uientally unbalanced for some time. He leavea a widow, one son, James W., in Nebraska, and two daughters, Elizabeth, wife of C. E. Palmerlee, county commissioner of schools, and Mary, a senior at Olivet collece.
