Otter Lake, May 29. - While Charles Carpenter, living near Lapeer, was shearing sheep about two uiile3 out of town. one on which he was working kicked, driving one point of the shears ín the front of his neck and the other just back of his left ear, severingan artery. He will live, unless lilood poisoning sets in.
