This morning's Free Press contains the following Washington dispatch: The Ann Arbor public building i has been favorably considered by I the house committee of public buildings and grounds, and wil j probably be reported favorably f rom that committee tomorrow. The amount carried is $75,000. The bill was favorably reported lást congress, but failed of passage owing to the fact that the report was made very late in the session. Xo public building bilis were passed at the last session of congress, but it is believed that several will be favorably considered by the fifty-third congress. There are now on the calendar of the house some twenty public building biils. The Ann Arbor bill is farthest along of any of the Michigan bilis and will be reported earlier than any of theif).
