Saoinaw, June 21.- Newell B. Parsons, convicted of the larceny of $463,000 worth of railroad bonds from Wells, Stone & Company. was denied a new trial and sentenced by Judge Wilbur to the extreme penalty, five years. in the state prison at Jackson. Parsons smiled and said "Thank you." The case will be taken to the supreme court.
