Miss Kate Cramer is visiting in Palmer, Mass. Fred Dodsley is spending a few weeks in Detroit. Miss Abbie Field, of Hill street, is visiting in Grand Rapids. Judge and Mrs. E. D. Kinne gave a reception Monday evening. Miss Ola Smith, of Indianapolis, is visiting Miss Grace Moore. Joseph Donnelly and James E. Callaghan, spent Wednesday in Detroit. Miss Minnie Hasbrouck, of Marshal, is spending the week at Moses Seabolt's. Mrs. Dr. Waters, of Detroit, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. , Vosburgh. Horace T. Purfield and family, of South Twelfth street, are in Houghtnn M ïrh _ Prof. L. N. Johnson, and wife, of Smith university are visiting in Bridgeport, Conn. P. H. Quick and family of South Twelfth street will spend the summer in Orland, Ind. Mrs. Charles A. Young and raother, Mrs. Dexter, left Tuesday for Oakland, California. Mrs. Wal ter Roost, of Miller avenue, has gone to Alma, Mich., to visit relatives for two weeks. Titus F. Hutzel attended the National Master Plumbers convention in Detroit, Tuesday. Mr. Ed. Lohr, of Kalamazoo, will arrive tomoirow to spend commencement week witta Wm. Wedemeyer. Arthur H. Burkson and family, of South Twelfth street, are spending the summer at their old home in Butler, Mich. Mrs. Hudson, son and daughter, of East University avenue, are spending the summer at their old home, Bellvue, Pa. Mrs. J. B. Heiier returned to her home in Jackson, Tuesday, after spending a week with her daughter, Mrs. J. O. Jenkins. Wm. Eister leaves for Flushing, Mich., this afternoon on business. He will practice dentistry there after commencement. Prof. Cari Schlenker, ot Carthridge, 111. , is spending cotnmencement week with Mr. and Mrs. Philip Lohr on Packard street. Prof. C. E. Greene has been attending a meeting of the American Association of Civil Engineers at Niágara Falls, this week. Rev. Charles A. Young left Tuesday for Grinnell, Iowa. From there he goes to Marshalltown, Iowa, and will be absent six weeks. Mr. C. G. Cook will leave tomorrow for his camp at Strawberry lake where he will remain for theseason. He will erect another cottage out there.
