Mis. W. Swift is building a íiew barn. O. H. Twist attended the county convention at Anti Arbor last Tlmrsday. Miss Cora Depne closes her term of school tliis week in the Kimmel dis;rict. Amsley Davis has begun work on ;he new ditch known as the Lambie TileUrain. People here are becoming a little frightened of emall-pox and a great many are being vaccinated. Mr. Wm. Burrell, one of Superior's band boys. and Mis. Betsey Alban were mairied last Thursday. Mrs. Thomas Casey, of Kansas, who lias been visiting ber daughter, Mrs. Harry Cannon. and having her eyes tieated at Ypsilanti, returned home last week mucu improved. Mrs. E. R. Twist who has been ill for sonie time, has been removed to Ypsilanti for treatinent. vShe is at the home of her brother, John Robtoy. We hope she will soon recover. Mr. Joe Green, of Detroit, carne from there Saturday evening on his wlieel, to spend Sunday with his sister, Mrs. A. L. Wilbur, returning home Sunday evening. He made the trip of 33 miles in three hours.
