Washington, Auir. 30. -The agricultural departnient has issued a bulletin on wheat as food for stock, which says: "Whea wlieat aud corn are the same price per bushei, it is preferable to feed wheatand sell corn. First, because wheat weighs 7 per cent, heavier per bushal than corn; secoudly, because wheat is weight for weight an equally good grain tor fattening auimals aud better for growing animáis; and thirdly, because there is much lesa valué in fertilizing elementa removed froin the farm in cora than in wheat." It should be fed at. flrst in smaü quantities.
