Galveston, Sept. L7.- The Santa Fe expres was held up at a water taak south of Temple at 1 a. m. ïwo men ran the fireman and Eagineer George Frank oS the engine. They evidently had oonfederates and expeeted to rob the train, but the confedérate were elther at the wrong place or there was sorne misunderstanding. The fireman broke away from the robbers and reportad the case to Conductor H. Weller. Meanwhile the brakemaD came up, ank the robbers belleviaghe was the ad vanee picket of arescuing train crew juinped from tho engine and fled.
