Matteson--gilbert

At Hamilton, Ohio, Wednesday evening last, at 6 o'clock, there ocI curred an interesting social event: one that brought to a pleasing close the bachelorhood of a wellknown Ann Arbor business man. On the date and at the place above mentioned, Miss Marie Gilbert gave her hand in marriage to Mr. Epp. Matteson, of Ann Arbor. The groom is of the firm of Bowdish & Matteson, prosperous dealers in gents' furnishing goods. The bride formerly was a student of the University and graduated with full honors in the department of elocution, and is esteemed a young lady of social accomplishraents, with especial literary gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Matteson will reside on E. University avenue and will be "at home" in about ten days.
