Federation Proposes A Tax Law

Belleville, Hls., Oct. 11.- The Federation of Labor has adopted a tax law that is to be presented to the legislatura which provides that tho general assembly shall provide such reven ue as may beneedful by levying tax by valuation go that every person and Corporation shall pay tax in proportion to value of hls, her or its property subject to taxation. It shall be optional with each county of the state to fix and determine by a majority vote the class or classes of property upon which taxes for the public revenue shall be levled, but the general assembly shall have power to tax perBons or corporations owningor using franchises and privileges.
