Work Of The Equalizers

The committee on equalization of the board of supervisors having made their report, the action of the committee was approved by the board, Wednesday. Only onechange from the rolls of last year was made. This was in the case of the waterworks, which being nowincluded within the city limits, the assessment was taken from Ann Arbor town and placed on the city. The increase of valuation for the city is $60,000, but as we have the goods, the change is manifestly fair and just. The city of Ann Arbor this year stands assessed at the valuation of $5,235,000. Ypsilanti goes in for $2,240,000.
