Sovereign, general íiiaster workinan of the Knights of Labor, was seon in referenoe to the dispatch from ïorouto to the effect that the Sovereign party in the general aíscmbly soun co meet in New Orleans intends to disfranchiso the Canadian Knights of Labor and deny thein representation in tliL' general assembly meeting in order to weaken the Powderly opposition to the Sovereign party. Sovereign said the report was fa-lse; the Canadians could not be disfranchised, and there was no personal foeling between him and Powderly.
