Xvouis, iNov. .-From the latest unofïicial returns recoived from thirty-flve counties in Missouri Republioan gallis of 16,000 irc shown and the eloction of their entiro state tickot by a plurality of at least 10,000 is assured. The lower house of the state legislature is Republican, but tho Demoorats, who have a majority In the sunate, will be able to carry things on a joint ballot. Returns from somc of the oongressional disfcrlcts aro rather conflicting, but on the whole show a docided Eepubücan gain. At least six Democratie candidatos fot congress were defeated und possibly srveral moro will be counted in the Republi■ oan column when completo official returns are In. The defeat of Hatch in the First district by G. N. Clarke by 400 nlur.Uity ís claimod by the Republicana. Bland is prabably defeated by J. L. U. Hubbard, Rep. St. Louis, Nov. 8.- As nearly as can lx; ascertained at this hour the Dcmocrats have lost the Fourth.Fiftcenth.Thirteenth, First. Third, Sixth, Eighth and Eleventh congressional district. Hubbard and Charles T. Joy, rospeotively. R. X. Bartholdt (Rep) continúes to hold the Tenth. St. JOSKPH, Nov. S- Returns show that Crowther (Rep.) bas been elected beyond a doubt in tlie Fourth congressional district. His plurality is about 1.U00.
